Hello, can i have this?

"You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." James 4:2,3

I want to share about what i learn from the book written by E.M. Bound regarding the above verse.
"The two great evil - Not asking, and asking in a wrong way. Perhaps the greater evil is wrong asking, for it has in it the show of duty done, of praying when there has been no praying- a deceit"

Have we ever blame God for not answering our prayer? Maybe some of us do. But have we ever thought of why our prayer are not answered? James 4:3 says, we ask and not receive because we ask with the wrong intention, often self centered or of our own interest. Prayer of this kind, is an abomination before God.

Therefore, may we submit to God and allow Him to purify our heart (James 4:7-10), so that our prayer will be heard by God, so that we may commune with Him, so that He may be glorified in the things we ask of Him!

*Praise God! He answered my prayer! I ask God to help me get Marksmen so that i could give Him the reward earn from it. Inspite of my faulty weapon, inspite of feeling sick and weak during the shoot (i was trembling through out) God sees me through and answered my prayer!
